Packing List

• A comfortable mat, sleeping bag, blankets, and pillows
• A blanket, tarp, or rug to use as a base layer between the earth and your mat and your other things
• A camping chair
• Clothes including hats, gloves, jackets, sweaters, and scarves (Note: While some people choose to dress in white attire for ceremonial or personal reasons, please feel free to dress however you wish. We simply recommend loose-fitting clothing that is layered to stay at a comfortable temperature throughout the weekend.)
• An extra change of clothing set aside for ceremony
• Shoes that easily slip on and off
• An eye mask and earplugs
• Tissues
• Sunscreen and sun hat (Marana location)
• A water bottle
• Personal hygiene items, a towel, and toiletry items (please avoid using any heavily-scented products around the time of ceremony)
• Additional dieta-friendly snacks you might want to have throughout the weekend
• Optional: A journal and pen, musical instruments, gems and minerals, items of personal significance, a personal shade structure (for blocking direct sunlight during ceremony), a meditation cushion (for support when sitting)
Please take note: We will have a few extra mats, sleeping bags, blankets, and pillows available for use; but please bring your own if you can. And please let us know if you are planning on using any of our items so we can reserve them for you at the ceremony site. Your sensitivity to sound will become heightened in the medicine and it most definitely affects your experience; so, when choosing what to bring with you to ceremony, please consider bringing items that will be as quiet as possible when moving around, getting up, or laying down. Air mattresses can be particularly noisy and are not recommended (foam pads are preferable).
